Two female robbers who specializes in entering people’s shops, boutique, supermarkets, restaurant on the pretence of buying goods but later end up robbing them has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force, Barracks Road Division, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
The notorious female thieves who uses tricycle popularly known as keke napep to operate was last Thursday apprehended with the help of people who ran after their Keke after they had stolen from a boutique at No. 15 Ekpo Obot Street.
Boutique sales girl, Imaobong Isaiah narrates her odeal: " The two ladies entered the shop on a pretence to buying from me but after picking all that they wanted, costly female hand bags, shoes, men stuffs, wrist watches and cloths worth forty-five thousand naira. Instead of paying they sent me to go and buy them drinks. So, I went to buy drinks for them at the nearby shop. As I returned, I met them making calls, and immediately their operational Tricycle man who was on a standby to pick them up zoomed in and the ladies board on it. So, I ran after them and told them to return all the items, they refused, the tricycle man then zoomed off. So, I started shouting help! Thief! Thief!
The people around then pursued them, some used cars to pursue them. That's how they were caught.”
