A 51 year old man in Southern Germany was beaten to death by 4 men after he publicly urinated near a church in Freiburg, the police said on Thursday. The German Police are now searching for the 4 men who attacked the 51 year old man after he was seen urinating close to a church in Freiburg, a city in Germany’s traditionally Catholic south.

Two men accused of stealing cassava were stripped naked and beaten to pulp in a community in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. The men who were driven by hunger went to a farm to steal some tubers of cassava. But luck ran out on them when they were caught by the owner of the farm who raised an alarm that attracted other residents of the community and the thieves were caught before they could escape and the jungle justice they got was not what they bargained for.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 32 year old woman whose name is Yemi John and a 24 year old man, Jamiu Alabi. The duo were arrested for being in possession of suspected crushed human heads stuffed in loafs of bread.

 Indian police have launched an investigation into the death of a 13 year old girl who died after undertaking a religious fast for 68 days.  The Police is now interrogating the girl's parent. The police said they want to know if the 13 year old was forced to under take the fast.

The federal government has advertised the sale of two aircraft in the presidential fleet after been criticized by Nigerians. The fleet is believed to hold about 10 airplanes. Garba Shehu, the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, hinted in September that the number of aircraft in the fleet would be reduced. On Tuesday, the Office of the National Security Adviser advertised the sale of two airplanes. The advert, published on page 35 of Tuesday’s edition of This Day Newspaper, said the aircraft up for sale were Falcon 7x and Hawker 4000. The advert detailed the specification of the planes as well as their performance levels, indicating that they were in pretty good condition.

The South African Minister of Higher Education and Training, Blade Nzimande pictured above, announced plans to have witchcraft included in the country's educational curriculum starting from 2018. Blade Nzimande speaking to representatives from student unions around the country said: " There is a lot to learn from witchcraft, like how they fly in that winnowing basket. Imagine if we learn that skill. It will eradicate traffic jams and everyone will just get in their basket and fly. It also means we will not be importing fuel anymore ." the minister said.
