Drake is hoping and expecting the short film would help gear up fans interest in his latest album, Views, which dominated the charts at No. 1 all summer but was recently pulled off by the “Suicide Squad” soundtrack.

The police apprehended a group of internet fraudsters popular known as the Yahoo Yahoo boys in Nigeria. According to the police, the boys who were caught with a box containing an old mat, ladies used wigs, pants, and other items wrapped in red pieces of cloth. The police said one of them who is  a resident of Uruhakpa and student of the state Polytechnic, Otefe, Oghara, confessed that they were on there way to Oyo State for rituals.  

A 27-year-old man who masterminded the kidnap of his sister has been arrested by The Lagos State police command. Chiogozie Egegonye planned the kidnapping of his sister with his childhood friend, Michael Oluchukwu and demanded for a ransom of 300, 000 Naira (less than a thousand dollar)

A 45 year old pastor, Joseph olude of Elohim Cherubim and Seraphim's Church has been arrested along with one of his member, Rasak Raheem, for armed robbery. The man were arrested on Thursday, August 11 by the Nigerian police force. The Policemen arrested the men on a tip off.

A 22 year old man, Mahto Suraj, from India abandoned his wife and married his wife's mother, Asha Devi. Mahto Suraj had fallen in love with his mother in law when she came to stay with him and his wife, Mahto Lalita, in the village of Puraini in Bihar, north-eastern part of India ,2015. When Lalita suspected some sort of affair between her mother and husband, she ordered her mother out of her matrimonial home but her husband objected and later ran away with his wife's mother to a neighboring town where they got married.

The State Government, in a statement said it would enforce the law against anyone found wanting of land grabbing, no matter how highly placed such persons are in the society. The government also stated that facts had been gathered that most of the land grabbers were being sponsored by highly placed individuals in the society, especially traditional rulers, and if anyone is found wanting, he or she would be made to face the full wrath of the law. A 49 year old substitute teacher, Kelly Aldinger has been caught having sex with a 17 year old student in a cemetery. The police who caught the 49 year old woman and the 17 year old teenage boy said they found them having sex in a car at a graveyard in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Police was looking for a suspected drug dealer in his 30's whose name was Shaun Miller. When the police officers surrender Shaun Miller's house and demanding that he comes out, suddenly a man looking in his 70's comes out of the house, but the police end up cuffing the old man anyway and was still expecting that Shaun Miller comes out. It didn't that much time before the police realized that the young man they were looking for was actually the old they had cuffed. They found out that Shaun Miller was wearing a mask. Over 800 stray dogs have been poisoned to death in the Pakistani city of Karachi as part of the government's control measures to cub stray dogs. The killings came into effect  following persistent complaints from residents.

A 65 year old woman has being attacked and mauled to death by a large pack of menace dogs on a suburban beach nearby Kanjiramkulam, India. As the pack of dogs were attacking the woman, locals who came to the 65 year old's rescue said they were also attacked by the dogs. The woman's son who was among the locals escaped the pack of dogs by jumping into the sea.

Ghanaian end time Pastor Daniel Obinim is in the news again, this time around for beating 2 young member of his church for engaging in sex before marriage. In the video, a shirtless young man is being whipped by the end time pastor for allegedly impregnating a girl. The end time pastor is seen asking the young man how he was going to take care of the impregnated girl since he is unemployed. The pastor is also seen as he whipped the girl severally, the girl at one time ran towards the altar and was brought back by the pastor's entourage. The Nigerian presidency has ordered a crude investigation of former president, Jonathan, and his wife, over the Niger Delta oil and gas facilities bombings. The government now has established the fact that some of the oil installations bombed in the Niger Delta had been mined while Jonathan was president of Nigeria. The fact has been established that the oil and gas facilities were mined with explosives just before the 2015 election, by operatives and militants close to Goodluck Jonathan. It was also established that the explosive mines was meant to be a Plan B should in case his he was defeated in the 2015 general election.

An Egyptian judoka has been sent home after refusing to shake his Israeli opponent's hand. The IOC said on Monday that Islam El Shehaby received a severe reprimand for his behavior of not shaking hand with his Israeli opponent following his first-round heavyweight bout loss to Or Sasson on Friday.

 Dalian Atkinson's brother said Dalian threatened to kill their father before he was Tasered by police. Dalian Atkinson attacked his 85 year old father, Ernest, at his home on Monday before police were called to the scene. Dalian strangled his aged father before the police hit him  5 times with a 1000 volt electric stun gun. 

Dalian Atkinson was a former striker for the Aston Villa football club. He was hit by a police stun gun in Telford, Shropshire at about 1:30 am, August 15, 2016.

A 32 year old business man, Ezekiel Igbokwe killed a man he caught having sex with his wife on their matrimonial bed. Mr. Ezekiel Igbokwe had travelled to the eastern part of Nigeria on July 25 and returned midnight of July 27 to find a stranger having sex with his wife on their matrimonial bed.

45 years old Philip Spurlock has been arrested and charged for using his 7 year old son as a human shield when a police officer pointed a gun at him in West Virginia, United States.

A woman wearing headscarf, Rania El-Alloul was attending a hearing in Montreal, Canada to recover a car seized by the police when her 21-year old son was caught driving with a suspended driver's licence. A female Judge, Eliana Marengo asked her to remove her headscarf before the hearing got under way but Rania El-Alloul refused.
