Fans sued Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa for causing railing to collapse on them

Superstar Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are facing legal action from a group of fans who were injured following a railing collapse at a concert in New Jersey.

The stars were performing at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden on 5 August as part of their The High Road Tour.

At the concert, the railings holding the platform separated the pavilion's lawn and collapsed causing dozens of fans to fall several feet to the concrete floor.

The hip-hop stars  had asked for fans to stand up moments before the incident, causing the crowd to push forward.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were quickly escorted off stage by security staff, and the remainder of the concert was scrapped.

It was confirmed that more than 40 people had been injured in the accident, with many hospitalized with broken bones, scratches and bruises. 17 of the injured fan came together teaming up up to sue for compensation.

The victims claimed  Snoop  Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are responsible for the railing collapse because they sparked a stampede by telling the crowd, "Everybody in the motherfu*k**g grass bring your a** down here."
