A 19 year old young man, Shane Burke tracked down her birth mother, Rose Bestall, 35, after 14 years since she gave him up for adoption.

Rose Bestall was only 16 years old when she gave to Shane Burke, and was age 21 when she was forced to give him up for adoption.

Shane Burke used Facebook to find the woman who gave birth to him. But after an emotional reunion Shane Burke developed romantic feelings and was sexually attracted to her mother. He believes he had psychological condition genetic sexual attraction.

Weeks after the reunion between mother and son, Shane Burke said he became confused about his feelings towards his mother and eventually admitted he is sexually attraction to her after they were bonded over a shared love of karaoke.

Shane's mother said her son's declaration of love left her with a massive dilemma. She further said she completely knew and understand her son's feelings were inappropriate but she had searched for him for so long and she didn't want to push him away again.

She said she also told her son that she loved him ­unconditionally as a mother but the kind of relationship he sort after could never be established.

Shane Burke declaration of love for her lost and found mum almost threatened  their new bond as mum and son as the declaration drove mum away from son.

Shane Burke said he had felt incomplete during his life and always wondered about his birth parents.

The parent who adopted Shane Burke gave him the name of his real parents but was blocked from contacting his mother via Facebook due to her birth mother's tough privacy blocks.

Shane Burke then sent a picture of himself on Facebook, which his birth mother recognized due to his resemblance to his father. She was happy to meet again her lost son she gave out for adoption.
