A 22 year old man, Mahto Suraj, from India abandoned his wife and married his wife's mother, Asha Devi.
Mahto Suraj had fallen in love with his mother in law when she came to stay with him and his wife, Mahto Lalita, in the village of Puraini in Bihar, north-eastern part of India ,2015.
When Lalita suspected some sort of affair between her mother and husband, she ordered her mother out of her matrimonial home but her husband objected and later ran away with his wife's mother to a neighboring town where they got married.
After 2 month into marriage, Mahto Suraj has finally realized his mistakes, and now wants a divorce from the wife's mother.
Mahto Suraj said he wants to go back to Lalita, his abandoned wife. He had since being begging Lalita for forgiveness.
Mahto Suraj said he had come to realize his foolishness. He said he will never repeat the mistake in the future.
