Policemen in Benin City, Nigeria arrested Apostle Ikenna Okafor who is the founder of the great mind prayer ministry for allegedly burying charm in his church premises in Benin to pull congregation.
The Residents of Esigie Street, Benin, the apostles neighbor's insist it was a live animal he buried as charm under the church premises.
Policemen saved him from been lynched by the angry resident who stormed church with vexation in their mind. The police arrested Apostle Ikenna Okafor and took him away .
An eyewitness, said his father woke him up around 2 a.m. on Saturday night to watch what the said Apostle Ikenna Okafor was doing. He was burying a live animal.
According to the eyewitness, " I watched the pastor at night, he didn't see us. he buried something in front of the church and later performed a little ritual by walking round the church several times.
Confirming the report, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Edo Police Command, DSP Osifo Abiodun, said the suspect was under investigation. The spokesman for the police explained that the suspect had made useful statements that will assist the police in their course of investigation.
