Tope Aluko alleges threat to his life, seeks police protection


Ekiti State former Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Temitope Aluko has called on the Inspector General of Police to grant him protection, alleging threat to his life by Governor Ayodele Fayose. 

Tope Aluko addressed a press conference in Lagos, accusing Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State of trying to undermine his safety.

Tope Aluko called on the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice to fast track the happenings of the 2014 governorship election in the state. 

Tope Aluko said he had not fled the country and equally on bail from the agencies while snippets of issues ensuing from these statements are filtering into the ears of the actors/beneficiaries such that they are now attacking him from every corners. 

Tope Aluko also said while soldiers that partake in the fraudulent election has been sacked by the military council as a result of getting to know the truth from the investigation.

Tope Aluko then wandered why the civilian actors and beneficiaries of the Ekitigate fraudulent election are not only walking the street freely, but also threatening his person and family.
