2 Kwara State APC Chieftains kidnapped

The Kwara State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Ishola Fulani-Balogun, and the Secretary of the party, Chief Bode Adekanye, were on 20th May, kidnapped by unknown gunmen along Abuja-Lokoja Road.

The APC chieftains were returning to Kwara State after attending the trial of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Abuja.

The abduction of the APC chieftains did not go down well with the state leadership and members of the party.
