Cameroonian footballer, Patrick Ekeng collapses, dies on pitch

Patrick Claude Ekeng Ekeng was a Cameroonian professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He had two international caps for his country's national team, whom he represented at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations

Ekeng fell to the floor in the 70th minute of a televised Romanian league match between Dinamo and Viitorul. He was rushed to hospital and was pronounced dead in hospital two hours later.
