The 11 year old whose name is Ashlynne Mike, was found dead less than 24 hours after she was reported missing on Monday, her body was found on Tuesday.
Ashlynne and her 9 year old brother, Ian Mike were both kidnapped on Monday afternoon after getting off the bus that returned them home from school.
27 year old Tom Begaye told the 11 year old girl he’d take her to a movie, but the 9 year old brother decided to get into the van with her sister because he didn’t want her to go alone.
The 9 year old boy told the Police that the 27 year old man later dropped him from the van and asked him to go home
The 9 year said he watched the van go up into the hills and later came down without her sister. The 9 year old then ran two miles to the highway where he was picked up by a driver alone and unhurt and was taken to the police.
