Customers enjoying a meal at a Chinese restaurant at the weekend were not happy with the service after finding rude comments insulting them on their bill. It all started when the waiter served out a family-sized bowl of rice to serve the four diners
According to one of the diners, " we had to express our mind because the waiter did not serve the menu correctly in an authentic Chinese way, i mean in a separate bowls, the way a Chinese menu should be served.
After the 4 diners had finished their meal and served their bills, they noticed some offensive words added at the end of the bill.
After the shocked customers reported the situation to a manager, two waiters were summoned to the table, where the manager apologized and explained they were just joking with one another.
They had intended to delete the comments before presenting the bill to the table, but forgot. The manager told the customers.
He said: "They always do that. I've told them so many times. And they did it again." The waiters have had their hours reduced and will not work at prime times, while the customers were given a $20 gift card as compensation. The incident happened at the establishment in Virginia, USA.
