A 33 year old woman was bitten by a tiger after drunk breaking into the tiger's cage. According to reports: " In the wee hours of Sunday morning the intoxicated 33 year old woman able sneaked through the security at an Omaha zoo and gets into the tiger cage, where her ordeal began.
Jacqueline Eide, who is well known to police for some previous antics, broke into the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium after hours of operation. When she reached into the tiger cage to pet the 18 year old Malayan tiger named Mai, the tiger crushed her hand with her mighty teeth.
Jacqueline Eide will most likely lose a few fingers on her left hand, the hand she used to pet the tiger. A friend who was with Eide transported her to the hospital as her hand was a mess. Shortly after she arrived, police were called to Creighton University Medical Center for an unruly patient. Eide became aggressive and she was giving staff a very hard time. Police believes she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs because she appeared intoxicated. The zoo authority has confirmed it will not release the surveillance video. Omaha Police Department wrote on it Facebook page with a warning: "Just in case you had any doubt ... If you pet a tiger you will most likely get bitten."
