4 dead in L.A home, Father shoots wife, and 2 others, son shoots father

A father and a heavy drinker shot his wife and two others, killing the 3 instantly in his home on New Year's Eve before his son wrestled the gun away from him and fatally shot him, The dispute was set off over a washing machine, authorities said.

The two other victims killed were the son's 48 year old girlfriend who lives at the house and a 27-year old man who was visiting.

The set off dispute was ignited when the son's girlfriend wanted to use the washing machine and for some reason angered the old man. He is said to have a large collection of guns.

The son, 33-year old Christopher Morey, is now being held on suspicion of killing his father and held on a $1 million bail. Morey and his girlfriend were living together in same home with his mother and father at the time of the incident..
