Men of the Nigerian Task Force, Lagos division recovered a sum of 5million Naira ($50,000) that fell off a moving bullion van along Lagos State House of Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja. The Chairman of the Task Force, Superintendent of Police, SO, Olayinka Egbeyemi, said two Police officers attached to the agency recovered the money.
The two officers are Sergeant Ogunbiyi Agbabu and Inspector Eheziekia Abiona, they are officers that recovered the money which fell off the moving van when it sped past the agency’s headquarters at Alausa, Lagos, Nigeria. Superintendent of Police, SO, Olayinka Egbeyemi therefore, ask the Police and Lagos State Government to commend the officers for honesty and integrity.
Superintendent of Police, SO, Olayinka Egbeyemi, however said that the owner of any bullion van that drove through the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex between November and December 2015 with missing 5 million Naira should come forward with proof of ownership.
