Pop Icon Prince is dead

Pop music superstar icon Prince has been reportedly found dead at his home in suburban Minneapolis.

Prince whose real names are Rogers Nelson was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor and has been a major figure in popular music for over three decades.

Prince broke through to success in the late 1970s with hits such as Wanna Be Your Lover and soared over the following decade with such albums as 1999 and Purple Rain. He was born June 7, 1958. He died at the age of 57.
