The Police had confirmed the death of a 45 year old man who had been attacked and killed by his own animal yesterday afternoon at Cumbria, United Kingdom.
The dog's breed is believed to be a Stafford shire Pitt Bull. The police in a statement said when they arrived the scene there were pool of blood splattered everywhere. The dog had already been locked up in a bedroom by the deceased 2 teenage daughters who pulled the wild dog away from their father.
Police inspector, Gary Hunter said he had not seen a scene like that in 20 years; he said since they got to the scene the angry dog had barking loudly for more than 3 hours trying to get out.
The inspector also said in the process of the Police trying to seize the Pitt Bull, they had to bring in measures to keep the wild dog under control. He further said the police had to use a Taser after deterrent sprays weren’t effective.
The Police then seized the Pitt Bull along with 3 other dogs at the house on Robert Owen Avenue, Cumbria, United Kingdom.
