Dog sold for a record £15,000 at auction

A young sheepdog has been sold for a record breaking price of £15,000 at auction.

The 16 months old dog beats the previous record of £9,240 for a sheepdog sale. Such farm dogs usually sold around £2,000. Sheepdogs in their job herding sheep can manage to cover up to 50 miles a day.
