Teenage girls charged for slamming rabbit against wall

3 teenage girls are facing animal cruelty charges after they filmed themselves repeatedly throwing the rabbit against a wall. The teenage girls then posted the video online with a caption "she threw her bunny."

The teenage girls can be heard in the video giggling and laughing as they continue hit and throw the rabbit against the wall. The rabbit is also seen trying to escape.

The teenage girls were reported to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office and were later arrested after the video was posted on line.

The rabbit was rescued by the animal service officers and was taken to a nearby vet where it was treated for a broken leg.
