A 31 year old woman, Dan Glory has been arrested by the Police in the Eastern State of Nigeria Akwa Ibom, for the death of her 75 year old father.
Dan Glory confessed to the Police that she killed her father because her father killed her children and 2 husbands in a witchcraft coven.
Dan Glory angrily broke into her father’s room hitting him on the head with an object that caused his death.
Residents were said to have reported the murder to the village head of Mbiakpan Atan. The village head then called the police who came in and arrested the suspect.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Cordelia Nwawe, said the crime was initially reported on Tuesday at the Police Division Itam on May 10 and was then transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Uyo on May 16 for further investigation.
The Police then asked Dan Glory how she got to know her father was responsible for the death of her children and husbands.
Dan Glory then start to narrate: “My father has been responsible for the death of all my children, including my two husbands. “It was my mother who revealed it to me in a dream when I washed my face and went to her tombstone and cried to her, she told me that my father killed my children and husbands in his witchcraft coven.”
