Man sentenced to 15 years and 1,500 lashes for throwing his 4 month old baby out of a moving car


A father in Saudi Arabia had been sentenced to 15 years in prison and 1,500 lashes for throwing his 4 month old baby out of the window of a moving car because he was convinced that the 4 month old baby was possessed by evil spirit, which also caused the death of his wife who fled the moving vehicle and was instantly hit by a moving truck.

The father was found guilty of killing the baby and causing the death of his wife, and sentenced to 15 years in jail and 1,500 lashes by the judicial in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The man had been reportedly on high drugs substance when the incident took place. The man first started beating his child while driving on a highway and then suddenly threw the baby out of the window.

The wife was shocked and managed to get out of the car and started running down the road to get help, but was hit by a speeding truck and was instantly killed. The father then continued driving until he was stopped by a police vehicle.

A prosecutor called for a death sentence, which was rejected by the judge. Instead, the judge sentenced him to serve 5 years for the killing the baby and 10 years for causing the death of his wife. He was also sentenced to receive 1,500 lashes.
