Man Slaps Wife to Death over 100 Naira

A 36 year old Onyekachi Anele has been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force for slapping his wife to death over 100 Naira. This happened in the Eastern part of the Country.

Onyekachi Anele said: "When she insulted me over N100, I got angry and slapped her. But she immediately retaliated. Then, I slapped her a second time. She then fell down and died."

Onyekachi Anele who is cooling his nose in the police custody said he loves his wife and had no intention of killing her. "It was a little misunderstanding and annoyance that prompted me to slap her. i had no intention killing her." Onyekachi Anele and his late wife had 2 children together.
