Rogue Monkey Caused Kenyans to Suffer Nationwide Blackout

The rogue monkey fell on a crucial piece of electrical equipment. a transformer at the Gitaru hydroelectric power station yesterday resulting in the loss of 180 megawatts of power and triggering a blackout across Kenya.

Power was then restored almost about 4 hours later and the lone monkey survived its lone adventure. The monkey has now been captured and taken in by the Kenya Wildlife Service.
