Russian woman stabbed to death for spreading HIV

Tangaru Ramazanova, 25, was found dead by the river side in the city of Kizlyar in Russia's south western Republic of Dagestan. She was found with multiple stab wounds inflicted on her body.

Police believe she was killed in revenge after infecting one of her lovers with the HIV virus. The Police said she had been stabbed about 20 times in the body and was also punched in the face.

Tangaru Ramazanova's body had been wrapped in plastic and dumped in grassland close to a river side. Her body has been sent for autopsy and police have requested confirmation whether she was truly HIV positive.

Police have launched a murder investigation to identify the victim's sexual partners.
