Extravagant meets disaster as bride's helicopter entry into her wedding ceremony crashed

A bride who wanted to surprise her husband to be plunged to her death when the helicopter she hired to her wedding ceremony crashed minutes before she was set to tie the knot and also killing three other people.

The groom was told his wife to be, Rosemere do Nascimento Silva had been killed while waiting to marry her at the altar.

The 32 year old nurse, Rosemere do Nascimento Silva was killed while wearing her wedding gown and veil, she had planned to surprise her fiancé Udirley Narques Damasceno, 34, and 300 guests by arriving at the wedding venue in an helicopter.

When the wedding planner heard the news, he called the officiating pastor of the wedding ceremony and told him the awful news. The pastor then helped break the devastating news to the groom. The groom was heartbroken.

Wedding planner Carlos Eduardo Batista said: ‘I called the pastor who was officiating at the ceremony and he went with me to help break the awful news to the groom.

The bride's brother, Silvano, pregnant wedding photographer Nayla Cristina Neves Lousada and the helicopter pilot Peterson Pinheiro were the three killed along side the bride in the devastating helicopter crash.

The helicopter crashed in a forested area near the football field it was scheduled to land, the incident happened Sao Paulo, Brazil. Sao Paulo Fire Department sent eight teams to the scene, there were no survivors.
