The hibiscus is a tropical plant a flower that comes in white, pink, red, orange and yellow. All parts of the flower or plant are very useful includes the leaves, seeds, bark.

All around the world it is cultivated for the medicinal and culinary purpose. Hibiscus Tea is known for it many wonders. Though most of the population of the world do not know this. Hibiscus is highly rich in vitamin c which fight colds and protects the body's immune system.

  • It reduces weight thus prevents obesity and coronary heart diseases like atheroslerosis. 
It also has huge Antioxidant benefits: In the human body, oxidation causes two electrons to break apart leaving 2 oxygen radicals free to roam about and these sometimes damage the healthy cells which then may become cancerous. Hibiscus petals which are part of the plant people use to make tea or Zobo drink have dark red colour caused by compounds called flavonoid.

 They contain anthocyanins, plant pigments that give a red or purple shade. These are antioxidants, natural antioxidants that fight the negative effects of oxidation process. It supreme ability to combat free radicals affects our body function. It helps the cells stay healthy to perform and reproduce. It also help cure diseases such as arthris and the swelling, redness and irritation that happens after an injury

The chemicals in the tea or zobo drink has antibacterial properties and serve as a gentle laxative which can relieve constipation and related problems such as painful gas and bloating. It keeps the bowels moving in essential influencing the amount of water and nutrients that get absorbed. A blocked or sluggish bowel can prevent the stomach from emptying as it should which leads to stomach upset and heartburn. The polyphenois in the tea or zobo stimulate the digestive system while deterring the growth of stomach cancers. Its lowers blood pressure in hypertensive patients and many more the wonders of the tea

Despite it many wonders on health benefits. The Tea or Zobo drink is not safe for pregnant women and therefore not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. It can stimulate menstruation and can lead to a miscarriage in some women. Also there hasn't been enough research on whether it is good for mothers that are still breastfeeding, so mothers should avoid it use during that time.

He also played in the 1975 European Cup final defeat by Bayern Munich in Paris.  The England national team said they were saddened by Norman Hunter's death and that all of our thoughts are with his family, friends and supporters.
