Her reason for the assault on the 16 year old girl was because she was stubborn. According to report the several assaults had been dated back before the use of hot iron.
The incident occurred on Christmas Day but residents intervention and action led to the suspect’s arrest and the matter had since been reported to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence team in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
Residents who voiced their anger said Mama Emeka usually over-work the young teenage girl, whose mother is said to have abandoned her after the death of her father. The angered residents said mama Emeka usually force the teenage girl to hawk and work into late hours of the night. The residents also said their was an event where mama Emeka used razor blade to cut the victim’s thighs and shaved her hair.
Mama Emeka had since been arrested by the Nigerian police force, and taken to the ketu police division where she is currently cooling off her head.
